How hard is it to convert the 900 degree Logitech wheel to the PC?

I lost my MSFF wheel a few days ago since it after a test showed to be damaged in a way that was most likely too expensive and hard to fix so it was thrown out. After racing some F1, GTR-demo and WR I really lack a wheel but building my own is most likely beyond my abilitites and no-one can help me, so how expensive and hard is it to convert the Driving Force Pro to work on the PC? I know it's been done before but don't remember where.
