Anyone know if Remote Desktop can be attacked via the internet?
Its just the last few days we've had stuff put on our desktop which cant be explained
One was a word document titled Document, which you dont wanna know what it was about, put on Monday 27 Sept at 12:26am yet no one was up nor was the internet on! It was like a spam email, but the scary thing is it wasnt in email forum and it was put on our desktop NOT by US!!!!!
Someone told me theyve heard Remote Desktop can be attacked via the internet and give a hacker / attacker access to your desktop, then from there they can literally virtually do anything, add files, delete files, edit files etc because they have virtual control of your desktop
I just wanted to know if anyone else here has heard of such a thing?
