hello forum & can I get an avatar?

First of all hello every body who reads this.I just signed up today.I am an Aussie.
I went into the My User CP options and it wont let me have an avatar.Am I doing something wrong or does my membership have to mature to get one?

Cool place you have got here though. Covers a bit of everything by the look of it.I am like most Australians I love my V8's.The louder and the faster they are the better they are. :HB:

Just make a few more posts, and you will progress to the normal member status.
