I saw GP2 in a GameTraders for $7!!

The graphics were a tad poor (1995, understandable) but the actual representation and attitude of the cars from the screenshots on the cover looked excellent for the day!

Do you reckon it's worth getting? even for just $7 (Aus)

Seems like a bit of a collector's item to me!

I also saw an Ayrton Senna racing game (Monaco GP II) for the Sega Megadrive....$4!! It's a must have for any Arton fan :P except I didnt have $4 at the time :?

Cheers

I've got it as well. It's not bad for the day. Collectors item though? I doubt it.. :(

I'd say it's worth it, GP2 is an awesome game - despite it's crappy (dated) graphics, the game is a remarkably good sim. in my opinion.

The only down sides now are that it does not natively support Internet multiplayer, although there is a patch (or was) available, and that there are still a few physics issues with it (like not being able to roll your car over) which I assume is due to computing power back when it was made and the limits thereof.

If you pick it up, I'm sure you'll have a whale of a time with it :D

its still worth a try I`d say, tho you better lower your expectations on the GFX :p - on the other hand, if you know GP1 you`ll think GP2s GFX are the best you ever saw

I remember me playing it for months & months (with keys)...I found my old setup list last week when I cleaned the room....
