Just a few minutes ago I finished the last of the first series of World Racing online races I've ever tried and it was fantastic fun! Fez was so friendly to help me set which cars I needed and host a passworded pit where we could race various cars :) We tried the Viper RT/10, Evo 8, BNCR34 (from Borg) and my childhood dreamcar a Porsche 928S. They were nice and balanced and I could keep up, sort-of. I sadly had to see my very old MSFF wheel get thrown away to recycling today since both the circuitry was showing clear signs of being damaged which is not repairable and the plastic-wheel had lost the rubber-grip due to decomposition so I had to drive with the keyboard and auto-shift allthough without ASR and ESP and just normal ABS.

I hope to be around some other time for some fun :)

Greetings to Fez, TDK and Synetic, Tom from TDK and the great modelers out there and the famous respectable Racerplanet race-clans

Just ordered the MB WR so.......................................... I'll probably be needing some tips and some advice from all you veterans real soon :D

I sure hope more people are racing MBWR online, that what I've expirenced lately in the F1C mod community. It's mostly hardcore pro league racers in passworded pits practicing forever and ever =[ . As much as i like many of the mods, it's just no fun, if there's noone to race !!

Hoping to meet you guys online soon

Stig! Great to see you getting WR. -^ Anything you need, just ask it here. There are PW pits in WR too, mainly to keep out the ass crashers, although there arent too many of those anymore. Most pits are c/d on,and believe me,when you've been bumper to bumper with several other experienced and fair racers for 20 km,and no one has hit anyone else, you will realize what an intense and fun racing game this can be! For some reason,C off just doesn't quite match it.

Lag isn't nearly the problem it was with PU,although my ping isn't as low as I'd like it to be,since most racers are in Europe, and I'm in Canada. There are still ppl with bad conns though, and if I find myself in a laggy pit I usually just leave.

Unlike PU's excellent single player game(Evolution) WR's single play is confusing and not a whole lot of fun, imho.I never liked the Waypoint missions, and most of the other missions seem to take place at Test Centre tracks,as opposed to the wonderful open road tracks, which I love.

Bottom line;get the all cars/tracks hack, the no-cd hack is also useful, update to 1.6.6 (MP) and don't forget to try some of the excellent add on cars, not to mention Krom's Normandie conversion!

I loved singleplayer, i have been playing it for weeks.
Then again, i didn't have proper internet back then :P
But it's still nice. It takes a while to complete, and you get to race all the tracks and nearly all the cars so it's useful practice.
