Cell phone ringtones

Hello all, I have a quick question. I have been trying to find some sort of program that will allow me to get actual songs into my cell phone from my PC. I have found one that allows me to put pictures into the phone but not music.

My phone does accept and play REAL songs, it is an Audiovox VI600.


Any help would be immensely appreciated.

Your phone should come with that software, or it should be available from the manufacturer. It might be something like the Nokia Data-Suite software that ships with all of the more serious Nokia phones (the phones usually used by businesses, like 6800, 6820, 6310, 6385, etc).

Make sure you have a Data cable and software for the phone… IF you have that, it should allow you to transfer the music… Unless you have to convert it, then I don’t know, You might want to call Customer Service at Audiovox..

I'll have a look, ive got quite a few programs for my phone (3200)

I transfer via an infrared port on a laptop, just turn the phone onto infrared and it communicates with the PC automatically

I have found (for me anyway) if you can convert the tone to the suitable format (I dont know what format realtones are tho) your able to just click it where youve got it on your pc and send to infrared, it'll transfer and show up on the phone as "tone recieved", you save it and it asks where
