I just downloaded the V.2 of IPLounge, since I still had the old one and wanted to connect.
It comes with a "Win_P_Cap" installation, that seems to be required to run the lounge....what is it??? The readme just says where it comes from, but not what it is and what it does....I don't like installing stuff that I don't know &(
I found no info about it on RS forums, or here...not even with a SEARCH operation

Forget. I found what it is.
But I still think that one should be informed of what is being installed *HINT* *HINT* ;)

LOL...sorry, I was in a hurry :)
WinPCap is a driver to control network packets. It seems to ease the job of programmers of network communications programs, also making the communication platform-independent.
It scared me a bit at the beginning, but I finally found the info at the web site of Turin's University, where the driver has been developed, and I decided to trust that JMac is not writing malicious software to spy your PC's activity :D

Well researched.
yes it is developed by Turin University and is most importantly free.
it captures the network traffic from both PU & HS which is then passed to IPL for live displays & stats.
IPL ignores all other traffic........but you are right there was intended to have some info with it but the users decided to adopt the beta version en mass so it was as they say already out.
Beta6.2 is the current version being used with 7.3 being tested, when its no longer beta we will include something in the credits and download zip.

Thanks John.
Sounds great what you can do with WinPCap....the stats are the most remarkable point, but can you also check the game files used (like SW does) and use this info to keep the stats clean from cheats?
