I need to find that logo on the front of the car, with the Schiesser text also.
Can somebody help me find it in a reasonably large size? I need to use it for a colour scheme on a car I'm painting for a mod project, and have not been able to find this logo anywhere.
Maybe if someone knows the typeface used for the writing, could they type it, and post it as a black/white *.gif file here? I could probably draw the emblem easy enough, but the type-face is the problem.

I wonder if this link works, but it looks like the correct typeface to me... :)
The font looked familiar, so I got out my old Letraset catalog, back from my studying days, and I identified it fairly quickly as a font called 'Souvenir', demi-bold version.... then it was just a matter of 'googling'... :PC:
I'm not sure if there are 'free' versions of this font available, but maybe the link I posted above, with the word 'Schiesser' previewed in 72 pt is good enough. If it's still not 100% correct, try and do a search at http://www.myfonts.com for Souvenir and see if one of the variations matches better.
Earlier this week I came across a thread over at NFSCars that had some good links for Brand logo reference, I'll post the links here:

(these come from SMCars, I haven't really checked them myself)
In this case, the problem was of course that, anno 2004, the Schiesser logo looks different than it did on those Porsche 956s, which was, when, the late 80's maybe? (I don't know) ;)

That will do fine! Thanks! :D
And yes, this Porsche is from 1985. The photo here is from Spa 1985, from before this car was involved in an accident with Jack Ickx's new Rothmans Porsche 962C at Eau Rouge.
Sadly, the driver of the Schiesser Porsche 956C (Stefan Bellof) died in the accident. He had no chance, while Ickx was lucky enough to impact with the wall backwards.
