Recently after getting back into the swing of being on the net, and getting back into NFS, i started going about downloading the editors again. Although, i'm far from anything spectacular by today's standards of editing, i dont mind stuffing around with HP (old comp, anything later and things stop running smoothly). Anyway, i cant seem to find FCE Tweak anywhere.... can someone let me know where to find it please?

I'm not sure I remember that program, I only remember this one:

http://heyne-multimedia.de/nfs/

That's FCE-Finish.

Not sure about an FCE Tweak ( although I do seem to recall hearing that before somewhere ) , but there are only two fce program authors I'm familiar with , Addict and Klaus Heynes .

Addicts program for doing various things with the fce may well have been called FCE Tweak at one time ,or I could be thinking of a part of car cad by Chris Barnard(?).

I took the following off of Addicts homepage here (http://addictarts.nfscheats.com/):
NFS FCE Converter -
This program can convert any NFS3 FCE to NFS:HS and any NFS:HS FCE to NFS3. It also allows you to change the carcolors, make an animated driver, change part and dummy names and import a damaged model.

Klaus's FCE program can be found here at nd4spd world (http://www.nd4spdworld.com/), and goes by the name FCE Finish . I believe you can also pick it off at Heynes site , but I dont remember for the life of me the url there .

And just in case it IS part of CarCad your looking for , you could try here (http://www.btinternet.com/~bitsandpieces/nfs3/)

**Edit*** Hmm . Apparently , CarCad has either shifted or changed since the last time I downloaded it ( last time , I'm pretty sure Chris was hosted on NFSCheats , but I get an error going there now . ) In any case , I downloaded all the versions on the binternet site I linked to ( a valid mirror he left up ) and didn't see FCE Tweak in either of those . ( vers 1.2 and 1.3 ) . Its possible it was in a later version , or it was added on in a later zip file if it was indeed part of CarCad to begin with . I'll go through the copies I burned to disc and see ;)

**Edit 2 *** ahHAH !!!! BINGO !!!! After a quick bit of searching , I did find an FCE Tweak inside version 1.43 of CarCad . Thank goodness I haven't completely lost my beans yet  . You can nail CC 1.43 here at nfsGarage (http://www.nfsg.net/?topic=files&gv=hs) . I sure hope one of those is what you were looking for , as I am now all Googled out :p ^_^

Thank you guys for taking a look around (and a think by the sounds of things, lol). The FCE Tweak in the Carcad download is exactly the one i was looking for. It does have certain similarities between cartool and fce finish, and though both of those programs are very good, Tweak is a personal favourite of mine. Mostly due to the fuse function, for some reason when cartool fuses things, it'll throw them out of alignment. Gets frustrating after a while. Once again, thanks a lot. This proggy is going to come in handy. Sorry to put your brain through such a 'googling' experience Bogs &(

No a problemo Squires ;) although , being candid for a moment , I've never gotten FCE Tweak to work without erroring out loading a .fce file , and that is probably the reason remembering exactly where I saw it was so hard . Suprisingly enough , CarCads always worked flawlessly on the same system . Go figure eh?

Glad I could help ya out , though -^
