need help...

Recently my hotmail's been hacked... or infiltrated by someone... and they've made the mistake of e-mailing my new account ... i now how have an IP adress.

I would very much appreciate if someone could tell me of some method to find out who this person is. Whether you point me into a direction of a program that can help me, or tell me directly who it is, the help will be greatly appreciated.

You might ask me why go to these lengths to get someone who just hacked my hotmail. Well lets say this guy took things way too far. I've e-mailed him offering an ultimatum, i don't know what his response will be, but no doubt something pig headded and stupid, so i'd like someone, ANYONE, who could help me find this guy.

If you are determined, then use that ip number to find out who his provider is, then launch a complaint to his provider. Chances are he will be warned that failure to behave will result in disconnection.

Personally, I would rather just send the guy a message saying that I know where he lives (give a bunch of bogus stats as to how I found out) and that I will burn his house down while he is at school if he doesn't dummy up. Then change the hotmail account. ^_^

I agree with Commander is more than likely its a snotty nose school kid mess with you momo send a email with the stuff that Commander has said and a little extra chances are it will stop better still send the little smartarse a email bomb you know the old saying pay backs a bitch ^_^

I don't know if it's just some snotty kid. I have reason to believe that it's someone I know. They know a little too much, and on that account I have rather private messages that he is now mocking me with.

I want to find out where he live's actually... it would help a great deal in finding out if one of my friends(or so i thought) is screwing with me. Do you guys know where i could find that out?

Could it be that you logged into your Hotmail account at someone's house, and forgot to log out? I don't know if Hotmail auto logs out or not...

Its also possible that you used someones MSN IM at one point and that also would give them access to all your info. I will have a look around at my resorces and see what I can come up with for you. There has got to be a tracker program out there unless they are using a proxy you should be able to at least get some basic info on them, send him a nasty @ss viruis if nothing else. :eek:
