I don't think I told anyone here that I went back to Malaysia for the summer. Now I'm back in Canada, and today marks the first month of that. But anyway, here are some photos for those who are interested:
Malaysia 2004 (http://irqnine.com/photogallery/gallerydisplay.aspx?galleryid=21)
http://irqnine.com/images/pg/thumb/00/05/94.jpg
Needless to say, this is the first and generic gallery for all the pictures I took in Malaysia, which includes the buildings and lifestyles of Malaysia.
Vesak 2004 (http://irqnine.com/photogallery/gallerydisplay.aspx?galleryid=22)
http://irqnine.com/images/pg/thumb/00/05/b3.jpg
Vesak is the Buddha's birthday. So, if you haven't seen Theravadan Buddhists celebrations before, this is a good gallery to open your eyes. Oriental Buddhism is Mahayana Buddhism.
Malaysian Cuisine (http://irqnine.com/photogallery/gallerydisplay.aspx?galleryid=23)

This is easily my favourite gallery. And it will be one of the two things I miss in Malaysia.
KL Lake Gardens 2004 (http://irqnine.com/photogallery/gallerydisplay.aspx?galleryid=24)
http://irqnine.com/images/pg/thumb/00/05/d5.jpg
Quite a bit of photos and some other monumental structures to complement the greens.
Playground 2004 (http://irqnine.com/photogallery/gallerydisplay.aspx?galleryid=25)
http://irqnine.com/images/pg/thumb/00/05/f5.jpg
Photos of the playground I grew up in.
Redang 2004 (http://irqnine.com/photogallery/gallerydisplay.aspx?galleryid=26)
http://irqnine.com/images/pg/thumb/00/06/13.jpg
Redang is a diving paradise. Not really a beach resort though. Not knowing how to dive, the scope of photography is rather limited.
Bangkok 2004 (http://irqnine.com/photogallery/gallerydisplay.aspx?galleryid=27)
http://irqnine.com/images/pg/thumb/00/06/40.jpg
Bangkok is the capital Thailand, home to over 7 million residents and about 5,000 temples. It's too bad I didn't spend more time there, and photos are limited in number too.
Singapore-Melaka 2004 (http://irqnine.com/photogallery/gallerydisplay.aspx?galleryid=28)
http://irqnine.com/images/pg/thumb/00/06/71.jpg
Singapore is an island nation right below Malaysia. Melaka, or Malacca, is a state in Malaysia, once an entreport for Chinese and Arabic traders, which was then conquered first by Portuguese, then Dutch, then British, then Japanese. Which was later returned to British, and finally joined the Malaysian federation.
Long Ride 2004 (http://irqnine.com/photogallery/gallerydisplay.aspx?galleryid=29)

I yet again went to Pt Pelee, through a VERY long way. The trip ended up clocking at 394.9km (245.4 miles). This time, the camera didn't break, and I was one happy dude to come back home safe, comfortable, and a bunch of photos to enjoy.
