Hey all,
I'd like to put a quick note to all of you to announce that my wife Nicole and I are expecting our first baby.
She's about 12-13 weeks in, due date in February next year.
We don't know the sex yet, but that will come in a few weeks (we're finding out so we can plan things :))
http://baby.seepies.net/1stultrasound.jpg is the only online image I have so far, and feel free to leave a comment in the guestbook on http://baby.seepies.net - though that site is pretty empty right now.
This partly explains why I've been more and more absent over the past 2-3 months, but I wanted to share it with you all, as you're all kinda like family to me :)

Hmmm...This may explain some the server downtime in the past few months as well. :D

On the contrary.. he needs to get used to it first so it's not such a huge change when it does come ;) heheh.. Phil, you should stay up late EVERY night and load up on Red Bull or something to keep you awake.. heheh
Anyway, congrats. I know you're not gone yet, but your inevitable large decrease in free time will likely make your appearances a little more rare.. .especially in the chat room, as your work hours aren't too far off from mine... and I can't use IRC at work :P That'll be a bummer!
But that's my problem ;) You'll have your hands full with mini-Phil (or Mini-Nicole? heh.. who knows yet). May you have years of joy ahead.

Hey guys, thanks a lot for your kind words.
I've given Nicole the URL so she can read the comments too :D
I like Matts' idea of training up for the lack of sleep ;)
Thanks a lot though, We appreciate it.
As for me being "old" George... hehe :)
We'll keep you all posted :)

CONGRATS GUYS!!!!
My wife and I have had two children in the last three years. It is more fun than work if you do it right, I promise. :) :) :)
I have advice if you want it, but I will remain silent unless you ask. ;)

not wrong
hey if your not sleeping of nights now then you'll be prepared for it!
Think of it as practice ... practice for something you cant back out of ^_^
LOL, no, what you do is get as much rest as you can now before the baby comes... Congrats man.
