Microsoft has released SP2 for XP.
I got it from the Beta Site already this weekend so I already had fun.
My advice, run a backup or better a full image of your installation before you touch it.
I did loose complete Network function on one system. It did crash my firewall (Sygate) because of the "Data Execution Prevention" feature. Even after removing SP2 network was gone.
DivX encoding does not work (but that did not work with RC2 also). DivX will release a new version shortly, and my guess is that many other software will also need an update to run.
If you work in support, SP2 will be a nightmare ^_^
I did create a slipstream XP SP2 and did a clean format/reinstall (I planed to do that anyway) and it workes perfect now. Seems like if software is installed later, it will work (like Sygate does now) but if it is already installed when you run SP2 it may give you troubles.
