View Full Version : Lowndes to Tripple 8 in 2005 TC Ink 08-03-2004, 10:27 PM well its no surprise http://www.v8supercars.com/news/latestnews/newsdisplay.asp?Ind=M&gid=12310 Y2kGoofball 08-04-2004, 04:20 AM well its no surprise no, its not! I posted it in the main forum more then 12 hours ago! Y2kGoofball 08-04-2004, 03:04 PM should also add not to be offended, I'm just being a smart @$$ (as usual) sorry ;) Mickcals 08-04-2004, 07:30 PM yes as usual murph_fan 08-04-2004, 10:45 PM So much for the Fords "Super Team"... About he got a decent drive. He should go well. Bo0 08-04-2004, 11:59 PM Yeah he should go really well there at 888 next season, they have decent cars so i cant see why not he cant win a few races here and there, lets hope he can make the most of this oppertunity. Heh yeah, there will be a large void to fill at FPR, and i feelthat they will go through quite a lot of heartache before they get things back on track. murph_fan 08-06-2004, 02:40 AM It will be interesting to see who they snatch for next season. Tander? Whincup? Or one of there Enduro drivers? They better fix their reliability problems. Also, it is confirmed that Paul Radisich will leave 888 at the end of this season. Personally I would have kept him and flicked Wilson. Radisich has done some good races this year including Pukekohe when he came 2nd or 3rd. Bo0 08-06-2004, 06:16 AM Gee thats a shame, the rat and lowndes would have made a great combination, maybe he was forced out of the team to make way for Lowndes? &( I wonder whether he will decide to keep on with V8 Supercars, or head back home to take on another competition. murph_fan 08-06-2004, 11:31 PM Well I found out that Radisich's contract ends end of 2004, Wilson's ends at the end of 2005, which probably is the reason. Mickcals 08-08-2004, 10:27 PM Radisich is heading back to England to race. But im sure Triple 888 have signed him for the Enduro races for next year a Lowndes/Radisich combo would be good. Well names you can throw around are Tander, Murphy, anyone really Prodrive have alot of money to spend Bo0 08-17-2004, 06:24 AM It's confirmed that Radisich is staying with the V8 Supercars, so this leaves the question open as to where he is going to go or whether 888 are going to bother running a 3-car operation. I believe he would have to be the favourite in FPR's eyes to take the #6 seat, but with all this goings-on of Murphy and Bright leaving their respective teams, it may be a bit more complex than a simple swap. Mickcals 08-17-2004, 04:54 PM FPR would be the No 1 Ford seat, but i think a swap to Holden would be more realistic at this point in time |
