Well there will be no more official words from EA on UG2 untill E3 hits. But I have been allowed to collect questions for answer when the time comes. :)
Feel free to post any questions you might have about UG2 and want to know about, and I'll have the staff help me gather up the top 15-20 or so of them and pass them along to hopefully get some answer to.

I'l start I guess, will it have american muscle like classic V8 powered mosnters like the GTO and Camaro and Mustang etc and then new age muscle and Aussie muscle cars like the Monaro/GTO, Falcon GT, Firebird, Mustang, and the old Falcon GT and Monaro too?
Also, as asked for every other nfs, will it be easily modifiable? You don't need to supply tools but make it easy for us to crack it at least.

I believe the question about modding was already answered. It won't happen.

I didn't ask for direct modifiactin form em, but then again what MBWR is good I reckon, easily crackable, but it won't happen.

Here are a few I could think of:
Will you allow open ended "Cruising" as well as the racing tracks, to be able to cruise would be an awesome possibility we missed out on in NFSU?
Will the XBox version of the game have online capability (I realise that PC-console crossovers won't likely be possible)?
Oh, will there be more than one "city" or "map"?
Will they allow for more technical tuning of the cars, as well as just addons, something like the setup in High Stakes or Porsche Unleashed - not too advanced, but enough to have some extra fun.
Last but not least - thank you EA again, for giving us a chance to be heard.

Whether Need for speed: Underground 2 Xbox Live will support, depends further on the on-line politics on I/O. Already in the autumn the play for the PC and consoles is to appear.

I am also curious about the gender of persona... it's an insult to girls to have to be a "boy" to play. Will they offer male or female persona choice?
Of course I'd like to see some real "muscle" in it since F&F movies included them - even just a yenko chevy and a charger like in the movie as grand prizes for beating the game would be cool.

hey all,
this is more of a comment(s) with a question(s) in it.....How many of played MCO? No, this is not going to be an MCO rant like on all other boards, just some interesting stuff to think about. So, now,, if you played mco, you know about sunset, and the unfortunate closing of that game. Now, then came news of NFSU. and hey, it got some of us thinking, hmmm, this could be good. right? Some of the previews seemed alright, some not so good, but we hoped for the best. Then it came. The release of NFSU, and how many of you bought it? Millions of us, of course. Was NFSU ready for release? NO! too many bugs to mention. But, being so close to Xmas, it was pushed out the door unfinished. We were told about patches, and a few patches came, but not all bugs were fixed were they? then came anouncement there would be no more patches/work done for Underground. Feel robbed dont you? You must by now. They sold you an unfinished product, and knowingly I might add, and told you we will fix the bugs, but decide not to, so they may focus on NFSU2.....and all you/us are expected to live with it. You know why? Because they know you will keep coming back for more crap. Because that is what this has become ...crap. Now , they announce nfsu2 in the works and are planning all that was supposed to be nfsu, and expect us to just swallow whatever it is they give us. So now, it is gettin close to release time, that being xmas time of course, and I really hope you guys show them enough is enough. They dont care about what the promise, go back on their promises, take your/my money and basicilly laugh because they got you/us again. and this will become an endless cycle untill we the customers , stop this brutal cycle, and dont buy their crap products. Hey, i am not here to tell you what to do with your money, but if you are continuelly pissed when their products are released , unfinished, do something about it. Stop buying their product, because that is the only way these bigwigs will cut this crap out. I for one am sick of being gouged out by these guys over and over. Its gotta start somewhere. So that said, i am done with ea and their crap and the crap they release. I have been dissapointed too many times, and there wont be another. so if you are like me, dont buy another product from them. There are so many other good developers out there, support them, give them your input, your money , instead of giving to them. If you like what they are doing and you like there products, by all means keep supporting the s.o.b suits of ea, but if you are like me, and i know there are true gamers here who are like me and others out there, stop for a second and think about it before you purchase another EA game.
End of rant.
Peace.

I agree, but you can't stop little kiddies who are brainwashed by FNF style movies wanting to play the game with their favourite cars, they all think skylines are the best thing ever unless their family is a car family of course.

just a note, they did patch all the bugs they could fix with NFS U.
One catch though, they made a major mistake when designing the multiplayer of NFS U, the integration with PS2 online caused them more headaches then they could imagine. That meant no patch files for the multiplayer part, why, because it would break the PS2 part because you can't patch a PS2 game!!
So yeah, they screwed up as usual and screwed us in the process. I had fun with NFS U, but their screwup limited the longevity of the game for me, but it didn't limit my initial fun from the game.
Buy NFS UG2, don't buy it, whatever. But I'm gona buy it, and don't judge me for it. As long as I have fun with the games I'll buy them from whomever, doesn't matter to me if they've got a bad track record or a good one, it's all about the fun. :)

I heard that the filter for online sucks... shows more games and players than on your screen online... thats what I heard, maybe its just a lack of players on now, the refreshment thingy.
