Hi,
I'm back with an experimental car of the late 30s. It was styled by Paul Jaray in 1938 based on a standard - 540K Mercedes featuring an ultra-leightweight and aerodynamic body.
Currently, I'm working on its dash and improving the performance file. Additionaly, I'm bugfixing the car's mesh.

Greetings,

Okay, I've understood. I'm wasting my time. This hurts a little, but the NFS Editor's forum is DEAD:007:

What a mess. This really sucks.

Car looks good, great work. -^

On the lack of replies, I think it is just that NFS4 is getting old, many people are playing games like F1 Challenge 99-02, and other different racing games.

NFS has sort of slowly decayed after NFS:HP2. :(

The NFScars editers forum isn't dead from wat I can tell, they jsut prefer Jap cars, simpy because they don't understand these old cars, but itz good work, looks really good too and excellent normals.

Sorry to hear you're disappointed, I hope that doesn't mean it's goodbye for now. :(
It's a pity that this editors forum has slowed down, but it's a sad fact that not that many people concern themselves with NFS4 anymore, and we don't really have a lot of 'new blood' in this area, to be honest. :( (myself I haven't been here in the last 2-3 days either)
While the NFS4 editing community in itself is far from dead, it's certainly shrinking, and a side effect of that is that it tends to concentrate more and more on the 'most' popular communities, such as the NFSCars forums currently are.

On the car itself, it the curved shape looks great, a slight pity that NFS4 doesn't have better reflection/chrome effects, so that it can look like the car is really made from aluminium... I went to see your thread at NFScars, and I really liked this second picture you posted there a lot: -^

Remko: You can get better chrome/alluminium effects by adjusting the environment maps. Unfortunately though, this change will be for all cars, not just one.
