I need some help with getting my IP lounge working again. It's a good 5 to 6 weeks that it's not been working for me. I have to lastest version which used to work fine before. Then it stop. I wiped out the whole PU game and just saved the save game persona. It worked after I did that but only for that night. Next day it wasn't working again and hasn't since no matter what I do. I found that NCOPS and everything else works fine but the ip lounge. I did it all fresh on an old PC and it looks now that it wont work with my ISP anymore. NCOPS and the game will. I've tried everything I know of but nothing works. Can anyone help?'s :help:

I use netzero.com

Hi Elvis!

Are you still racing on CGN (China Game Aliance). I dont race there because i had major problems with high pings. But once i found great program IPlounge, so i dont need to race on CGN.:HB:
But it was good expirience to make that program run and to talk with Chinese ppls. They wondered that i am from Czech Republic and how i found this servers and so^_^

Whats your problem exactly?

I had very strange problem too. When i pressed join race button game didnt loaded. I talked about with John Mac and New Whell and they said that problem could be hosts files. That file was mixed or what!

Look in this location (this is in Win XP, in other system it should be in nearly same location i think):

C:\Windows\system32\etc

Here are host files, for me helped to delete file called - hosts-
(make backup of this file before you try it - dont know, i heard that some special progrmas had stored there informations)

Windows will make new fresh hosts file with right informations. It helped me few times. And also in that Windows directory should be only one hosts file. Also are there some backups of hosts file, its ok.
