Nice car. It's the new Autodelta 147 GTA, with 245kW, and top speed of 280km/hr. The engine is an enlarged 3.75 litre version of the traditional 3.2 litre V6 found in other Alfa Romeo products.
Looks awsome, the bonnet vent would help with cooling a bit as well hey? It goes too, must sound even better then a normal gta too.

And the normal GTA is music to the ears.. I wonder what this monster will sound like.
The Alfa 156 JTS TV advertisement running at the moment gives an impression of what Alfa engines are like these days - howling beasts that wickedly encourage you to go faster.

WoW is that red devil front wheel drive ???
Must be one of the most powerful FWD cars.

FWD it is.
I tested a 156 GTA, and the high power was not a problem at all, the handling was amazing when floring gas during curves, no understeering like e.g my own car (I have no electronic aids).
But, if you turn off the anti-spin in a GTA, it spins from 1st to 5th &( ^_^ , guess it will take some practice to tame it :D

I think the most powerful front-drive car for normal road-use everyday is a tuned Volvo S60 T5 from MR tuning, a German tuning company.
They get something like 360bhp from the inline 5 turbo engine. Too bad that the car has torque steer problems. It spoils what was an otherwise nice car.
But this Autodelta tuned 147 is simply in a different league. It really is wonderful. And it is so well done, it could even be an in-house effort from Alfa-Romeo if you didn't know who was responsible for it.

They've been on sale for a while in Australia - much to the combined disgust of BMW, Mercedes Benz and Audi. Alfa Romeos cars are much better value for money.
They have nicer engines too. :)

Can't agree more Chris, that's why I drive Fiat HGT (can't afford Alfa-finish, but want the same technology and the sporty italian style) :)
Love it, just love it, cannot live without it
:Peace:
Here is a video TopGear testing the 147 GTA

Could somebody please try if you get sound with that movie ?
I tried on 3 different systems and get no sound. In properties it says WindowsMedia 9 Audio but I cannot hear anything.

Just don't like the quad exhuast... cars that small or smaller than a bmw m-coupe should have dual tips on one side...

FeZ; I haven't sound either, both Win-Media 9 and BS-Player is silent on my pc.
Arghh, this is the 2nd time I see a GTA 147 video, the first one had very poor soundquality, it's so nice sound in that 3.2 litre engine, I guess the 3.7 litre with the new exhaust-system is even cooler :)
Talking about sound, have any of you heard the Lotus 360 R?
Wow, must be the rawest yell in a streetcar engine ever, beautiful.

Mads: I've heard a Lotus Exige. It sounded pretty raw, but also very rough. It wasn't a nice sound from outside, it sort of sounded like the engine was not in good health.
Maybe tuning an old Rover K series engine for 133kW is trying for too much..
I still like its bigger brother better
