View Full Version : Help my peddals are stuffed Dylan 03-29-2002, 02:51 PM when i take my foot off the go pedal it goes all the way back but the computer doesnt realise it (look at screenshot), the pedals are for my Wingman Formula GP jtace 03-29-2002, 03:02 PM I would try recalibrating it... and if that doesn't work, I'd cheat a bit in recalibration, start and end the pedal just a tad from the off position. Dylan 03-29-2002, 03:06 PM i dont think this has a recalibrate thing cause its got this dodgy logiteach shite. should i install it as a generic wheel? DC_Targa 03-29-2002, 06:11 PM I'm sure you know this, but just in case you don't... If the pedals are a bit "old" or "used", the potentiometers (variable resistors) get dirty, the return springs get a little weak, and such. If recalibration doesn't help, then you might want to take things apart and manuall clean them. Be careful with some brands of contact cleaner because they can destroy surrounding plastic. Most of the typical carbon pots last maybe a year or so. The conductive plastic ones used in the Thompson Super Wheel might go a couple of years. Good Luck, DC_Targa Dylan 03-29-2002, 06:51 PM i dont think there dirty cause there only 2 -3 weeks old |
