Smokey! 01-17-2004, 01:55 PM I just had a little conversation with a friend on mIRC about movie themes and thought IŽd ask you guys wich themes you think would catagorize as the BEST of all time? Rocky 3. Lord of the rings 4. Star Wars 5. CLose encounters of the third kind 6. A Clockwork Orange 7. The Cook, the thief, his wife, her lover 8. St elmos Fire 9. Gettysburg! 10. A movie with great music (some new, some old) is Rushmore. And Almost Famous also has great music... I'm listening to thw theme from M:I-2 right now (instrumental version). I wouldn't say its that great but I like it. The theme from Rocky III (Survivor-eye of the tiger) is pretty tough. I can't think of any others at the moment. Billy Madison is a sh#t movie but the theme (billy squire-the stroke) is cool. Mickcals 01-20-2004, 09:53 PM I think The Great Beyond and Man On the Moon both by REM for the movie - "Man On The Moon" I would also say "The One That I Want" from Grease, "The Hands That Built America" from the Gangs Of New York, "Circle Of Life" by Elton John for Disney's Lion King. thats about it from the top of my head, but i ll think up some more. |
