Anyone remember that old song?
Gotta admit, the "Senior Wheels" thread got me thinking I should share this with you.
Some of you know I'm into amateur rocketry so I follow the hobby a bit. One of the most famous launches each year is LDRS (Large Dangerous Rocket Ships). Tons of rocket launches, many BIG scale rockets and loads of fun. There are people who enjoy flying "different" types of rockets. Much of the 2003 launch was shown on the Discovery channel here in the US. I happened to see all three episodes. Here is one of my favorite launches. It was powered by 2 "M" motors (about $800 just for the fuel grains), let alone the "airframe" which was a production full scale authentic errrr…. Well… just have a look.http://www.ericsrocketsandstuff.homestead.com/files/LDRS_22_porta_john_ready_1.jpg
