Can someone help me with a problem that I have. I have got Need For Speed 3 Hot Pursuit on my computer and I am trying to run it in windows XP. The problem is my display adapter is a Nvidia GeForce 2 (MX 100/200) and when I try to configure the 3D device settings to use my graphics card, it tells me that Microsoft has not certified my driver, I CAN play the game, but it keeps on crashing. I suspect that it might have to do with my graphics card. Is there any advice that anyone can give me or is there some kinda patch that I can download to my computer (I have windows XP but that doesn't have anything to do with it because if I use the software render graphics it runs perfectly but the graphics aren't that good)

All I can think to suggest right now is to update your drivers to some newer ones for your video card. Maybe someone else has some ideas...

I have the very latest driver update, can you tell me if there are any updated driver patches that contain the Nvidia drivers for need for speed. The auto update patch doesn't work because it cannot log into the EA server!

EA hasn't released any updates for NFS3 Hot Pursuit in years, so I'm afraid you can't count on that.
You are sure that you have the latest XP supporting drivers? I did a quick search on Nvidia drivers and found this page: http://drivers.on-line.net.nz/listing/page016.html with lots of nvidia drivers for various OS'es. Maybe it's worth trying out - in XP you can always go back to your previous driver easily if it doesn't bring the desired result. ;)
May I ask if you're playing NFS3 HP in compatibility mode under XP or not? I have been trying myself to play nfs3 in Xp, but for some reason it just doesn't start, even after installing went flawless with no incompatibility warnings whatsoever.
