It took all night to do but they are finally uploaded. 30 odd video clips, as I said, took a fly's life-time to upload. I went to bed after 6:30a.m. this morning leaving my son in charge as they were still trickling out into hyperspace. And that's with cable!!

Sure hope most folks have cable to view them. Not that dial-ups can't, it's just cable is instant streaming.

Finally found a free poll and have put 2 of them up. Vote for Holden vs Ford and tell us were you are from, from around Oz or outside of Australia and New Zealand.

Also some inside goss (gossip) on the game, not only the expected release but also a new Aussie track under-cover. Click the ticker-tape in the News/Home page to find out more.

Hmm, might do some more games today.

Have fun.

Matt : The individual driver ones are just each driver doing parts of a track. Looks like practice or perhaps qualifying. Nothing much unless you are a real buff who has a favorite listed driver there.

The Bathurst clips are (naturally) of some Bathurst starts, highlights and finishes. They have a narator talking through them with the odd comment from some drivers. I think Brocky and Moffat mostly.

The really big suckers are unfortunately the better ones to view. Sorry you haven't got cable, it is instant with video streaming all of these clips. I did think about dial-ups when I started to make the page but for the sake of those who have cable I continued.

The "Holden On" is of all the Holden drivers singing and playing instruments to a catchy song about how good Holdens are and to "forget those Fords". Two of their women are the backup vocals

The silver raceute is a beast (more so because I have seen, touched and heard it close up). They take it for some track testing in the clip.

Those two are probably the better ones, but we all have differant tastes and opinions so I really can't say which you would prefer.
The lap of Bathurst is pretty cool too, but we often see that done on TV.

Dylan : Yeah, like I said (above) mate, sorry you haven't got cable. I will look into changing the format in hope it may compress better (reduce loading time).

monaro : There probably is a way to save Quick Time movies from the net but I don't know how. I deliberately made them only viewable online so as not to infringe on copyrights laws. If I make them available to the public I could get into deep shit. Sorry 'bout that.

The poll seems to be screwed for 1024 resolutions. Just tested all three sizes for the new "Super-Quiz" I have just compiled and uploaded. Be sure to check it out. Much better script than the previous Supercars Quiz.... by far!!

Any Ford fans feel free to send me screensavers, video clips, wallpaper, etc if I haven't got them onsite already. I don't want to have things unbalanced, it's just that I have collected Holden stuff way before this site was ever an idea.

That also goes for Holden fans and anybody else. If you have anything to do with V8 Supercars (or even by it's former names) please send it and I'll put it up for all to view, use or downlod. With due credit to the sender.

If anybody would like to compile some V8 Supercars trivia questions (& answers) I could make them into another "Super-Quiz" with due credit to the sender. Perhaps a few here and there from a couple of guys can make a combined effort (shared credits) Super-Quiz. Sorry about the name but as I used some questions from the first quiz(s) I couldn't call it "quiz 2 for 800x600 viewers and quiz 3 for other resolutions. So I renamed it all together to be able to tag it as quiz "#1". I might make it that you need to complete that one before going onto the next. I am undecided yet.

Any suggestions on what else to include to V8 SHAKES?

Thanks for your imput guys. -^

I fixed the polls link lastnight but I'll go check them again. It was only 1024x768 that was down at the time.

I'll be fixed within five to ten minutes, depending.

Thanks for letting me know.

I just tested in all three resolutions Matt. There is nothing wrong with it for me.

To get the link info read the statusbar while your mouse is over the "Polls" link. Every page there has been made three times in three resolutions so the link would be different depending on your resolutions.

Try REFRESHing the main page as it might be a matter of cache.
