How to play NFS PU online!!???

Hi ppl,

I've been trying to play NFS PU online unsing the multiplayer->internet option from the game menu.. but no success yet...
it tells me to register, but when i click "register" it opens a IE page saying that the page cannot be displayed...
If i try to go to www.needforspeed.com/porsche or
www.needforspeed.com/nfspu it brings me the NFSU page..
Can someone help me on this one???

NFS:PU online servers have been closed down by EA. So you cannot race via the online option. you can now only race via Peer to peer. so you could use something like Ncops (http://www.ncops.racerplanet.com) to help you to race with other people. hope that helps :)

I'm in the same boat. I have NFS:PU and a cable modem and would like to play against someone online...any help would be greatly appreciated.

also, do i need to be a member of something to play online? and if so, where can i register?

go to the main forum and check out the thread with the RS lounge. that has a program that will help you all out.
