Im fairly new and was wondering how to convert a file so its SCGT useable? its from NSF4 or something i downloaded it want to use it in SCGT can someone help me? i was suggested to come here

If you can wait till early next year when I start playing around with SCGT I will be able to help

No we dont, its about 20mins to 1/2 depending on traffic.

Well for your information i am currently learning as much as possible about converting car (as i am new at this game and i am trying to learn with what time i have).

So hav_lova leave it with me and Y2k and we ll get back to, most likely via a private message or email.

(also it seems like we have ignored you and dont really care, but it is the total opposite - its just that me and Y2k have a very unique humor)

are you threatening me, if you are....i will take action against you. you and mickals shouldn't be moderators because you don't know the first thing about it.

i've also sent an email to Jtace about this whole matter....being a moderator doesn't give you the right to spam your heart out where ever you want. if you did that on my other msg board you'd get a 3 day ban for it.

read that tutorial that was posted on the first page, you should be able to work around that to work out how to convert.

I had a quick look and its quite good acctually, it details how to change textures on a model (which is good say, oh I dont know for V8 Supercars). I'm sure someone like you would be able to work out how to convert from there

Hav_lova im glad that Y2k has been able to find some information for you, i hope that its what you need. As for me i would have i liked to help out alot better than i did, but like i said i am in the learning process of converting and stuff, but i just i havent had anytime to work on it due to personal and family complications

acctually Mickcals if you look back you'll notice Hav_lova found that document himself, I was just praising the find.

It is a detailed and decent document which explains everything that we would need, I am sure myself and VQ could get some use out of it (VQ for 3D, me for textures) and then teach you in turn.

That was an excellent find and it'll boost us ahead in the new year when we start SCGT modding (once V8C is done)

Hah, Thanks for the praise but Vqcapricedude was a great help to me as he always is on msn... But... i have done some looking around and goto www.speedsims.com goto the bottom of the page look at the left column and go through the different sports car gt sections it helped me

acctually I do appologise that I wasnt much help:") but you kinda got us in the middle.

We will be converting / scratch building / whatever in the new year and learning along the way.

Thanks for your help and it sounds like VQ has been a huge help.
