So, you want MCO back? It's up to YOU!

As I see it, there exists a very large and very vocal market of ex MCO customers who would literally trip over themselves to sign up for a decent MMORG. This market is ready and willing (if not begging) to put their money on the line each and every month. It can only be a matter of time and effort before some other company responds to this void in the gaming market. A ready-made market of 20 - 30,000 subscription accounts is not a number that many smaller developers could ignore. Aside from the core MCO players, many other racing fans (like myself) would also jump on board. MCO subscribers topped 50,000 at one time and could have grown much larger with proper advertising and support.
I would suggest to you that EA may not be the best company for this type of game. I imagine an up and coming dev house with a REAL commitment to it's games would be much more willing to give a product like MCO the support and longevity that it deserves.
Stop looking to EA to fill the MCO void. They have tried and failed you, ultimately leaving a very large group of their own customers (YOU) up the proverbial creek. Do you really wish to put your faith, time and money on the line with this company again? How you could ever place your trust in them again is beyond me. I have very little doubt that another racing title comparable to MCO will eventually be released, though I can only hope that it is not provided by EA.
Look to other gaming companies to fill your MMORG needs. Companies which are not only dedicated to their products but which literally depend upon them to survive. Companies which could not afford to simply toss a promising product like MCO aside at the peak of it's life.
As I write this, there are dev's out there wondering what their next move will be. You need to be putting ideas into their heads. You need to organize yourselves and let your voice be heard elsewhere. EA is not listening to your plea. There are plenty of smaller dev's out there who may not be aware of the MCO market that is waiting paitently (and sometimes not so paitently) for an MMORG product to support.
Let the other game development companies hear your voice and you may find yourselves much nearer to your objective. Organize yourselves, create a central forum and begin to petition the "rest" of the gaming industry. Start a petition which can later be circulated amongst them. Appeal to the vast gaming news industry to spread the word of your great community which has no home. In short, get the word of your community into the ear's of the people who can respond to it. There are undoubtely many hungry dev's out there who would consider this market if only they were made aware of it's size and dedication to it's genre.
The longer you wait to begin this, the more your community will begin to fade. Now is the time to get REALLY serious and actively pursue this game that you have such a passion for.
While your voices are indeed coming through loud and clear, in my opinion, ya'll are barking up the wrong tree.
