# WR now starts in maximized window for fullscreen
# further minor fixes

We wanted it online for last week but found a bug we needed to solve during testing...

I'm sure they're not really releasing the update, because I'm currently without the game :D

Actually, I've given it to a friend of mine, who couldn't find the game in any store here in the neighbourhood &( Now I've ordered a new copy to TDK Europe because I'm not able to find it in the stores, either....weird, they're all out of stock, including play.com :help:

I hope it's coming soon....I want to try the big block, too -^

Just one question, where do i find the update?
The update link that came with the game and all other sites i have
found only have the 1.1.2 ----> 1.2.3 update.

I also have problems finding the new patches, neither "Surprise" or "Big block" works, I get a popupwindow saying "Sorry, comming soon".

The update link works, but it still says "from 112 to 123", that's the same update as the one I downloaded 3-4 weeks ago.

I bought this game in my town. But if i want to update the security site dont let me. Game CD secured or stuff like this... what is wrong? I updatet 1.2.2 only, but i want to ave 1.2.3

Hi Tillmann

You shall have the original CD in your slot and no "no CD" patch installed.

The update works perfectly to my knowledge.

A friend of mine had a similar problem with his world racing cd... it was his cd-rom-drive... it didn't work together with the sony dadc-copy-protection... do you have the possibility to try another cd-rom-drive?

I still can't find any new updates (tried 19.00 PM), same popup-messages as yesterday.
Will try more later this evening.

EDITED; Still no new updates available, I checked the "history" and it says 30-09-2003, does anybody else have same problem or is it only me?

Hmm,

I also get a "error-message" saying "security issue, please shut down the browser and restart you cd-application".

I cleaned up all temporary files on the pc, then I reinstalled MBWR, tried to go to online-update with a version 1.1.2, still I get the error-message when clicking on the "update" link :mad:


Is it only me:confused:

You using some kind of Firewall/Privacy/CookieBlocker Program ?

I had to configure my Zone Alarm to allow "auth.sonydadc.com" & "ibm.sonyvfactory.com" to set a cookie on my system for it to work. With my default ZA settings I got the same error as you.

But there is no new update on the site anyway.

Hey guys i had this happen to me. I also just happen to have two cdrom drives. Well i took WR out of one and put it in another and poof, it works. It runs from either drive and usually will let me access the site with it in either, but i guess it got picky. Also i took another game out of the second drive. So, if you got two drives, try another. I know you probably already did, but hey, sometimes the simplest things are overlooked. :cool:

I teted both cd-drives, but it does not work...
I disabled my firewall, but is still doesnt work...
I wrote an email two Florian Dekassian... he tries to help me.

I think something is wrong with my cd (A01000...)

Thanks for posting that link, I wouldn't be able to download without it. :)

Can't really tell if the patch made any improvements, my old video card fried and I'm using the Radeon 9800 pro I'll put in my new pc. Either the patch really helps the playability, or the video card does, could be both though.
