View Full Version : MBWR has arrived!
After being unimpressed with the NFSU demo, I went ahead and ordered MBWR from GoGamer (http://www.gogamer.com) last Tuesday and it arrived today! Only six days (including a weekend) is a great turnaround, especially considering it was mailed and had to cross the border to get here. High marks to GoGamer.
Unfortunately, I won't be playing much for another two weeks since I have three giant essays/projects due by Dec. 7 for school, but it should be clear sailing after that. Only exams to worry about then!:D
Maybe we'll get a nice Xmas present from Synetic (MP patch). :)
Paul
PS: if anyone else is going to buy from GoGamer, I found a coupon code for 5% off that is valid until Dec 31/2003:

Great news Paul! Best of luck with your essays/exams,and such, and I know you'll love WR when U have the time to get into it.;) Let's get together for a coffee in the New Year.Things will have quietted down by then.:)
Ric;)
Sounds great Ric. The new year would be fine, or any time after Dec 19, actually.
I've loaded MBWR but not played it. I shouldn't have trusted the gogamer website, which said it can take two to three weeks for shipments to get to Canada--I was planning on the game arriving *after* my exams were over, but now it's taking great willpower to not shove all the books and articles off my desk and and bolt the trusty Logi. Wingman wheel into place!
If only the stupid lotto 6/49 people would select my numbers, I wouldn't have to worry about school and could instead concentrate on my preferred occuption, Professional Internet Racer! :D

Don't install it, it's the only way to avoid getting addicted :)
Thx for the encouragement, guys! I'm holding out so far, but I'll have to put the MBWR box away. I thought Alps looked fantastic in the demo, but all the other environments looking equally great, at least from the screenshots on the box. Should be awesome, especially with the older cars, which were my faves in PU.
Just counting the days until...:racer:, but for now, back to :PC: and :book2:

So Paul, you've installed MBWR,but you haven't tested it yet??Hmmm...I'd be wondering if the installation went smoothly, and If everything works the way it should.I think a "Test Run" is important here, just so as to clear the mind in order to concentrate on your studies more effectively.:epoke: ;) This "Test Run" shouldn't take more than a couple of days...:D
