Well I never thought I'd see the day where I might be suggesting I build tracks for a game, but ive found a straight forward, easy to unerstand tutorial that runs through everything needed o build your own SCGT track!!
Imagine what we could do with SCGT if we could build our own tracks

i did a couple tracks for Racer, they use a scgt tutorial for the basics then just deviate for the racer specifics. its probably the same one. does it suggest a spline for the road?
its been a while but if i can remember any of it i'll help you out

first sentance of the second paragraph of the tutorial, Start creating a standard line (spline) and set the vertex type to "smooth".
Yes, yes it does mention a spline

they use a scgt tutorial for the basics then just deviate for the racer specifics maybe I can do the opposite and ask people who have created Racer tracks can we convert it to SCGT, as we would have Bathurst, Queensland, Oran Park, Sandown and Gold Coast
At least that would be a start and we could make a few more like Eastern Creek, Shanghi (yes, we would have to do this just for a laugh), and the like
