MBWR Trailer

I made a World Racing Trailer. In principle it's the same as the old one that Ole and I made about half a year ago, but this one has better compression, new video footage and different sound.

Beware - it's not a very serious trailer but what the heck :)

At the moment it's only in german - sorry. :) The two lines translate roughly into:

"Mercedes-Benz World Racing is ideally fitted for all elderly people who can't drive on sunday's"

"Lost your driver's licence? No Problem! With Mercedes-Benz World Racing you can race on Sunday's like there's no tomorrow" <= very roughly :)

You need the DivX 5.1 Codec and a programm that can extract RAR-Files (like WinRAR).

There are two Versions: A low and a high quality Version (20 and 42 MB).

The 20 MB version can be downloaded via this link:

The 42 MB version can be downloaded via Overnet or eDonkey (please share the file, when you've downloaded it! My laptop won't be online 24 hours a day).

P.S.: eDonkey doesn't seem to like that file. It seems like it's extremely difficult to connect to my laptop. Be patient with that one :)

I doing something about that 42 MB Version. I probably set up a webserver at home, to put that thing on there. It's not like, that this was my last video so I'll need more webspace anyway :) And I'm not willing to pay additional 36 € for 50 Megabytes more webspace.

Well - there's still the first Version of this clip - but that one is really...uhm...bad :) It was my first step into video editing so it is pretty bad (view it at your own risk).

I've tried to download also the 42MB version (I've seen the smaller one already) but it appears to be a corrupted RAR archive...even the WinRAR repair function is not fixing it, so I couldn't extract the AVI :'(

Hm - that's not good.

How big is your file? (should be 42.2 MB).

Is the checksum correct?

You can check that with the md5-cheksum program, which can be downloaded from

But it's strange, because I can download it (and Andreas from Synetic could it too) and it was fine.

You'll probably have to download it again :/ You could try the mirror Server from racingmag.de:
