View Full Version : Test Track 12, Australia 12

There doesn't seem to be any event on test track 12. My driving status shows 126/127 tracks driven after completing championship mode, the one missing is Test Track 12.
Also, there isn't any Australia track 12, this would have made the track total 128 tracks.
What happened?

Hi Jeff,
I have Australia 12 (part of the "National League" championship) and I've driven the Test Centre 12 (Mission "A Long Ride" on the ML400 CDI).
Did you ever change the track proposed for a championship race?
There is a potential problem when you become Driver Number 1: you can change the track for some races during a championship (maybe the joker races only?) and if the track originally intended for the event is not re-used in following championships you'll never (?) see it again.
Maybe Tom can help us clarifying this point, I'm not sure if - when you run the same "edited" championship a second time - you will be proposed with the original track or with the modified selection again.
I think I changed the proposed track only once, then I realised the problem and never repeated the "error" again...I'm now without 4 tracks (BTW, the tracks are 117, not 127):
Alps 2 (that will come in the last championship - FAST TRACKS)
Nevada 4 & Mexico 13 - that are in "Top 100 Selection" that I completed, but I didn't win the tracks (??? Will try them again)
Australia 11 - That I can't find in any championship/mission &(
So, at the end, I seem to have the same problem as you have, only on a different track (the one I changed???).
Can you look for Australia11 in your championships and post a picture of the championship with the track? I'd like to see what I have instead of it.

My mistake, it's Test Track 11 that can't be run, and Australia 11 that isn't there.

Ok, then Australia 11 and test Centre 11 are definitely missing for some strange reason....Tom can you help us?
The track list seems to be:
(16 x 6) - Australia11 = 95 tracks from the 6 main scenarios +
1 circuit (Hockenheimring) +
11 Test tracks (numbered 1 to 12 excluding #11)
9 Waypoint tracks (Waipoint 1 for all 6 scenarios + Alps W2, Alps W3, Nevada W2)
So at the end we own 96 tracks in the player info and should have 116/116 tracks in our "statistics" driving record.
But we both have 96 and 116/117 respectively, so at least one of the 2 missing tracks is expected in the statistics page
P.S.:
Anyway, my theory on changing tracks on "joker" races seems to be correct: in fact, I discovered that also Alps2 was in the "Top 100" championship...probably I simply swapped all three tracks the first time. They're race 2, 3 & 4 of the "top 100" series, so I did the error only once, but for three races in a row :D
You can recover if you re-run the season: I just did it and got the 3 missing tracks (Alps 2, Nevada 4 and Mexico 13)...now I only miss Australia 11.

So at the end we own 96 tracks in the player info
This assumption seems to be wrong, apparently....
In this picture SUE showed us that she owns 103 tracks:

So, probably, there's something more to win in the last three championships that I haven't completed yet....maybe you earn the 7 test tracks (#4 to #10) from the second-last "Race Tracks" season?
Can you confirm this, Jeff, if you completed all championships?

There are a total of 117 tracks:
The 14 locked tracks are:
Alps waypoint 1, 2, 3
Australia waypoint 1
City waypoint 1
Mexico waypoint 1
Nevada waypoint 1, 2
Japan waypoint 1
Test Center 1, 2, 3, 11, 12
The 103 unlocked tracks are:
Alps 1 through 16
Australia 1 through 10, 12 through 16
City 1 through 16
Hockenheimring 1
Japan 1 through 16
Mexico 1 through 16
Nevada 1 through 16
Test Center 4 through 10
When all championships are done, 116 out of the 117 tracks will have been driving at least once. Test Center 11 doesn't get used.

How do you know that the missing track is Test Center 11 or Australia 11 ?
Apparently none of the above is ever shown/used in the game so they both are "ghost tracks" in the same way....maybe track #117 is neither Aus.11 nor Test C.11 but a secret track to be released with the announced "big block" in November :D
Ouch....what an headache

locked tracks
You can always run the missions that have these tracks again.
The only missing track is Test Center 11, not sure what is up with that. I did a free ride and took a tour of the test center. You'll find the banked oval, the dirt tracks, and some other stuff around. You can drive the SUV's over the bridges that go over the track, and there's a path to follow along that goes over both bridges. There's also a tarmac path inside the oval. Test Center 11, is probably at the Test Center somewhere, just can't figure out where.

It's HERE:

I unlocked it with the cheat code "free ride". You can check This thread (http://www.racerplanet.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=10287) to know how to do it and eventually how to have a persona with your name from the cheat profile.
The only problem, if you want to use this cheat, is that you'll have to unlock all cars again from scratch, re-running all championships....not sure if it's worth the additional tracks, but maybe it's good for online racing on the otherwise "unlockable" test tracks....
I'm thinking about an online race on Test Track 2 (the banked oval)...

I just got a reply from the Synetic forum about the Test track 11 and Australia 11, from Andreas (synetic):
Testcenter 11 = Probefahrt / Rennstrecke
Australien 11 = existiert nicht
that means:
Testcenter 11 - used only to test the cars
Australia11 - does not exist

free ride ... unlocking cars
Unlocking cars doesn't take that long. Just create and run 1 lap singles races at a very short track, (Nevada 14 is only 2.3 km for example), using 100% arcade mode and all assists to speed things up and not have to really pay attention to the driving.

Yes, it's a good idea.
I've now completed the whole game and have all the cars and the tracks unlocked, except those 5 Test Tracks that you can never get in the normal game...
I might create a new profile saving from "Free Ride" and have 108 tracks instead of 103 ;)
To get all the sliders back to 100% is another story, though :D
