Announcement about the Multi Player

Dear friends of MB World Racing

I must let you know we will be not able to deliver the Multi Player in time as planned.

Synetic has some difficulties completing it in time for November. Carefully I would say we have a 4 weeks delay on it.

The reasons :

We had to patch the ATI problems...there is a bug in the card software we had to go around.

The N-Vidia fix has caused problems after fixining that had to be fixed.

Synetic is a small team of 7 people and could not cover all things...before we rush something out we want to make it nice and good.

The download cars are delayed too but next week Tuesday I have a MTG with Synetic where we discuss all this.

I apologize for the disappointment you now have and can not says how much we are sorry for this. But I believe it is better to say it now at the moment I know it.

Dont worry about being shoot at, i dont think any of the forum members will execute anyone for this, it is bad that the multiplayer patch is delayed since i really look forward to play with others over the internet and se how skilled i really am..but at least i can continue practicing, i have the game...

And it is a very good one..keep up the good job delivering information to us..

And thanks again for the info even though i had hoped for better news... :)

They may take all the time they need but they have to make it good. If it will become good then it doesn't really matter whether we did start our years of playing WR online 4 weeks earlier or later.

No worries Tom.:) Take your time,and don't worry about any delays.Even a big studio like Sierra has had to delay Half-life 2 for several months,so a small company like Synetic is in good company! Plz never feel that U would not be welcome here,as this is a friendly place,where all are welcome! :Peace:

Plz tell the devs that they have done a fantastic job on WR,and we look forward to more exciting things in the future! -^ :cool: -^ While U are there,give them this URL so that they can read and post here too,if they wish.

Thanks for the into Tom. It's not the best news, but at least your honest about it. I don't mind the wait as long as it's worth it and, I'm sure it will be. :)

What will I do now that I'm almost finished with the championships and everything else is done? Do everything again? Race each track again until I know them all perfectly? :help:

I really hoped that I could do all these things online, but if it's not possible.......I'll wait ;)

You can start another offline challenge like Sebi did. Mexico 15 or 16 should be tough (20km tracks).
