I have been up for the past 5 minutes, Nicole is still asleep….. What happened was the power went out sometime around 3 Am….

I have no clue when it came back, but it was out for a long period that I know….. Top that off, there was a constant flow of Emergency Vehicles, All you hear are Sirens, one after another, for long a period of time….

I couldn’t get any sleep…. LoL

I looked at my Mobile the time was 6:30 and that really when I slept well, till 9:30…..

This Night sucks…..

I got no clue why the power went out, I should go ask the neighbors, they know anything, also what’s up with Emergency Vehicles.

Probably will have to due with the power outage, because this is very rare, to hear this many sirens early this morning….

I didn’t get sleep tonight, due to the Yanks vs. Sox, I was up till 1 Am watching that game and some press conferences. I thought The Curse was over, and the Sox would win….

Damn Yanks…. :D

How did you all sleep last night? Did you sleep well?

Well, I had an equally bad night... I guess it is because I went to sleep (so I was bored) at 4 and woke up at 7 pm... well, I think that messed up my night schedule because I went to bed at 12 am and got up at around 2 and stayed up till 5 am playing NFS2SE (Hey I did beat my PB on proving grounds with the FZR2000... 3:00.12 seconds total time for 4 laps@274.xx mph and I did reach 275.09 mph but got a 3:00.18) and I went back to sleep some how and then woke up at 9 (to go to school)

them emergency sirens could've been for a number of reasons, depending on a few factors.

1) was it stormy or windy (that you know of?). sometimes in mid-night a storm brews up and the wind especially causes havoc. Only has to last a few minutes

For instance, blows a tree onto overhead powerlines. From here these cause a surge somewhere along the line which eventually finds its way into someones house, and i mean these lines dont have to be right out the front, nor on the same block, you mightn't even see these lines ever in your life (what I'm getting at is with all power lines they connect somewhere with each other eventually)

Or the sub station can blow due to storm

2) Maybe the sub station did blow (overheating?, overloading? vandalism gone terribly wrong? (hey it happend too))which has sent a surge or other nasty into a neighbours house, causing a power point to blow and power to be cut?

3) Other way around, one of the neighbours might have done something electrically wise which has the need for a fire truck to turn up to their house, ambulance for injury and police for paper work, meanwhile cutting power.

I mean the list is endless, and most of the stuff I am too tired to explain by typing.

Quite often though i know when power goes out people call police, thinking that their being broken into or something, which causes many police cars to rush to the house only to find the powers out due to ??

Just some quick ideas, it'd be good if someone knows what happened coz i would be interested to know!

I dunno man, hopefully better sleep tonight

I just remembered something, power did go out a couple of days ago for 30 min, I was one second talking on #racerplanet and surfing the web, the next second everything turns off and the house eventually got hot until power came back on.
