One only needs to complete all chamionships to get all tracks, now the real work begins.

I did just start to learn the tracks with my fav car the CLK DTM 2000. In the championships I used to use the arrows and arrow-colors like a Rallydriver his co-driver but first its no real fun and second it may be enough to beat the AI's but it will never be enough to have a chance against humanly drivers.

I just began with Nevada 1 and will continue with 2, 3, 4, .... and then the next country but what i did never think it that it will take That long.
Nevada 1 is rather short but those street-race-tracks are so much harder to learn than race-tracks, took me 6 laps to make one lap without a bang against any rail or something.
What a lot of work, it will take months to learn all tracks and that only with my fav car :help:

Yeeaahh but it makes so much more fun when you know the track! I just drove a Nevada1-single-race against the AI's.
Normally, with using the arrows as help, I was lucky when I could keep them behind me but now after finishing the 5-laps-race I had the AI-cheeks 1 minute and 4 seconds behind me :)
In additon one can drift much more and better if one knows the corners because one is out-accelerating of 'em instead of braking into 'em.

Moin Sebi! :) I doubt I'll ever be able to remember any of the tracks in WR.They're too long! ^_^ Like I said in another post,I'm so glad those arrows are there for slow-a@@ drivers, like moi. :D

I raced that CLK DTM today for the first time at the Test Track. What a beast! I loved it!

Speaking of the Test Center,One of my missions today was a high speed run with the W something..the one that looks like a rocket;^_^ U had to do 10 laps on the "Wall Of Death" in less than 5:50 mins or what ever.I did that,NP,but after every lap the game said "Driving Error,or "Severe Driving Error".Although I never went off the course or hit anything.

Moin Ricamundulous :)

That did happen to me too, later with another car I had the chance to find out what it is.
One has to keep the car on the either bright or dark line, I dont remember, if it starts "jumping" then you'll get a "Driving Error" or even "Extreme Driving Error" although you didn't add any scratch to your darling.

Hi Sebi,

I know what you mean with learning tracks ^_^ I just got a good grip on City 1 and City 3...there I beat the AIs on any car even at the highest difficulty (Dynamic or 100% of strength). These are actually my "testing grounds" for any newly awarded car.

But all the other tracks are still a mess for me...LOL

About the speed ring: it's simply not flat but made of large concrete blocks, not perfectly joined unless you drive on the ideal line...in the mission where you have to reach 470Km/h you will cause severe damage to your car if you don't take a good line...&(

Yes, and do you know why it's made of concrete blocks?
Try to drive a steep-curve with a roller-cylinder ^_^

I know ;)
I live in Monza and I've walked several times on the old, steep Parabolica... Well, actually you're "crawling" on it ^_^ When you reach the top your body is actually vertical but you're laying on the road surface...you can hold the armco and hang free from it &(

"Wall Of Death" lap the game said "Driving Error"

You get these messages because the suspension bottoms out. With slower cars, this isn't an issue and you can go up to the top of the wall. For the 5:50 run, you can stay at the bottom of the wall, and make the time, but it's not as much fun. Driving error messages will reduce the skill % on the mission, but the mission will have been completed successfully. I was getting extreme driving error messages occasionally on the wall.

You can also get suspension related messages on sudden changes in road pitch, or a hard landing if a car is jumped.
