Help please

I know this isn't the right forum, but my NFS game won't load, and considering it's closing this week, I would like to fix it ASAP.

I got home, came online for 4min, then went to go racing, and came up with all these errors!

AppName: porsche.exe AppVer: 0.0.0.0 ModName: porsche.exe
ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 0000986b


There is a whole load of other information, but not sure how to copy it across, without taking a million screenshots?

Any little tips I could try?
Likely to be just the .exe file is corrupt or some settings in the game?
I now remember what I did last night.
I had been racing, alt tabbed to desktop, went on RP and MSN, and then I hit Windows button, + U + U = Quick shut down... I forgot NFS5 was open, and it closed that too, without me exiting the game properly

I'll try just copying the original porsche.exe file from CD.
Note, I'm running legit version, and not with the NO CD crack, so I use CD.
And I beleive I'm using the correct 3.5 patch from some site, after EAOR accounts part closed down.

I'm not sure if I understood your problem Warren.

If you need the right 3.5 patch I uploaded it some days ago.
Take a look and download it from "Downloads & Favorite links" in my website.
My patch has porsche.exe file included !!!

looks like there is a problem with your updater somehow :confused: Looks strange that both "appver" and "modver" is 0 all over

Maybe NewWheel can tell what the error is if you PM him

No, thanks, but I don't need the patch :) I got a couple of different versions. One was the bad one, without new 356B,crp file.

Basically my game doesn't go.
I got no idea why, except last night I beleive I exited the game fastly, without quitting properly.
Perhaps that had something to do with it.
I've even looked into DirectX, now I'm thinking about a reformat of E: Drive (games drive), but that probably won't accomplish anything. Probably down somewhere in the roots of C Drive..

Thanks for trying to assist. Talking to Denix, he asked speficially what it said, so I went to load it again, to copy messages.. Damn game loads doesn't it. I've done nothing else to it in the past 2 hours, except play some F1 2002!

Now I'm reinstalling 3.5 patch file by file, and must remember to include the right 356B.crp file this time ^_^
